Diploma in Applied Energy Techniques

The Emotional Freedom Techniques Training Academy

EFTTA logo

Introduction

EFTTA is offering this short Diploma course in Applied Energy Techniques to give EFT practitioners the opportunity to increase their skill base and gain a better understanding of the therapeutic process. The course is designed to teach basic counselling skills and a range of therapy skills to enhance students’ understanding of themselves and their clients, and to enable them to apply EFT within a broader therapeutic context. The course is open to anyone, but the Diploma will only be awarded to students who have completed all three weekends and hold a valid AAMET EFT Practitioners Certificate. Otherwise attendance certificates will be given.

EFT is a highly effective self-help and therapy tool, but it is not a therapy. It is at its most powerful when used in conjunction with other therapy skills, and can then be applied more safely and effectively with a wider and more complex range of problems. Many EFTTA students have acknowledged this and have been asking for a course such as this.

Research confirms that the most important factor that determines therapeutic outcome is the quality of the relationship between therapist and client, as perceived by the client. Rapport building and empathy will be among a core set of skills taught over the three weekends, and there will be opportunities to practice relevant techniques.

Judy and Richard both have considerable experience in using, and in some cases teaching, a variety of therapeutic models. These include: psychotherapy, counselling, hypnotherapy, NLP, EFT and EMDR. They have been teaching EFT for over ten years. During this time they have taught this wonderful technique to a huge variety of people from many different backgrounds. These range from non therapists to acupuncturists, homeopaths, nutritionists, reiki practitioners, NLP practitioners, hypnotherapists, psychotherapists, counsellors, clinical psychologists and psychiatrists.
