EFTTA can help your business now!
CORPORATE
TRAINING is core to any successful business.
EFTTA has a great deal to offer your business based on the wealth of corporate
and therapeutic experience our staff can bring to bear on a wide range of problems.
People are the principal resource for any business, and our approach to our corporate
work is very person centred. If your primary resource (your staff) is happy,
motivated, communicating well and feels involved and included, your business
is going to be more successful. Conversely, if your staff are unhappy, unmotivated
and are not communicating well, your business is going to suffer.
We live in a fast paced world that places increasing demands on individuals.
We are working longer hours, having to cope with constantly changing technology
in an increasingly competitive environment, and struggling to find a balance
in our lives. Added to this is the fact that job security is no longer a given.
And we also need to consider the difficulties many people now experience simply
getting to and from their work place on our overcrowded roads and transport systems.
Many people arrive at work already stressed. Under these circumstances it is
hardly surprising that stress levels are rising, anxiety and depression is on
the increase, and stress is one of the main reasons for absenteeism.
EFTTA can help resolve these problems by focusing on:
1). Stress management training: We offer a range of techniques to help
manage and reduce stress. We teach you what stress is, how it can affect you,
what the signs are and how to spot it early. We will help you identify your stressors
and different ways to manage them.
2). Assertiveness Training: We simply call this "Clear Communication".
This is a vital and underrated skill that can help transform the way in which
your staff can communicate with each other. This is about how to communicate
your thoughts, ideas and feelings in a positive and non-threatening way while
being open to listen to other people's views and ideas. This allows for healthy
debate in an open and positive environment.
3). Conflict Resolution: This is an extension of Assertiveness. Conflicts
will inevitably arise in a business environment. We can show you how you can
resolve difference in a non-aggressive and productive manner. This can result
in conflict being resolved without people being left feeling angry and upset.
We can train a selected individual from your company in these techniques.
4). Culture: What kind of corporate culture do you promote? What kind
of corporate culture do you aspire to? In business it is vital to keep a healthy
balance between an appropriate structure with relevant boundaries and the flexibility
to create a nurturing and positive environment for employees to grow and develop.
This is not always easy to achieve, and can often feel like walking a tightrope.
The culture will define the kind of business environment your employees work
in, and how well they perform. We can help you with an objective overview, identifying
elements that may be counter productive and helping to promote a team spirit
that will drive your business forward.
5). Performance and Goals: People perform best when they have a clear
vision of what they and the company are trying to achieve. They need to understand
how their contribution fits into the overall strategy, and that they are making
a difference. Clear goal setting and reviews are the way to achieve this. Goals
give us a sense of direction and purpose - people do not like to feel "robotic".
Setting clear and achievable goals allows employees a feeling of being part of
the "corporate plan". Then an agreed system of progress checks and
reviews needs to be implemented. This fosters a real sense of involvement for
employees. We will help you introduce a simple system of goal setting and monitoring
that can revolutionise the working environment.
6). Meetings, Meetings, Meetings: It is often said that more time is wasted
in meetings than in any other business activity. Are your meetings really productive,
or do they rapidly degenerate into a free-for-all discussion? We can show you
how to implement simple strategies that will transform your meetings, whether
they be staff, management or board meetings. Your meetings can be concise, focused,
productive and time limited. It's great to come out of a meeting with a real
senses of achievement, having reached the goals you have set. We can show you
how.

Richard Mark:: Before re-training as a therapist Richard spent 23 years in the Corporate sector. For 18 years he was Sales and Marketing Director of a highly successful company in the luxury goods industry, and a Non Executive Director of another, similar company. During this time Richard learned a great deal about what helps make a business successful and what does not. Ultimately a business IS the people that are involved, and it is how they perform and interact that makes the difference. This, in part, was motivation for Richard to re-train as a therapist and he is now Director of the Psychotherapy & Hypnosis Training Academy; the EFT Training Academy; and has a successful therapy practise in London offering EFT, psychotherapy, hypnotherapy and counselling. Last year he started a new business, manufacturing and selling a niche range of products on the international market.
Judy Byrne: Judy has been a successful therapist and trainer for 15 years. She is a highly skilled hypnotherapist, psychotherapist and an EFT Master Practitioner. She is the EFT trainer for EFTTA and principal hypnotherapy trainer for PHTA. Judy also runs a successful therapy practise in London. Before studying psychology and then taking up her therapy career Judy worked for many years as a journalist writing for newspapers and magazines and held a number of senior positions in newspaper organisations. She was a director of a contract publishing company producing magazines for publishers. She is also the author of two books written for the Consumer Association.
Joseph Lucy: Joseph is an experienced psychotherapist/hypnotherapist who works both in private practise and the corporate sector. He has experience working with post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) counselling disaster survivors, and is an experienced trainer/facilitator with a number of corporate clients. Further studies include grief and loss, anxiety, NLP and domestic violence. In recent years Joseph has been mainly involved in the Corporate sector, working with a range of companies to assist in redundancy programmes and re-training. Joseph also lectures for PHTA and Oxford University, covering a range of counselling and therapy related topics.
